MCCORMICK GRILL MATES STOCK CAR GRILLING PARTY SWEEPSTAKES
Official RulesNO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Sweepstakes begins February 15, 2007, and ends July 15, 2007.
1. ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of the United States (except Puerto Rico) 18 years of age and older at the time of entry. McCormick and Co., Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and each of their employees, officers, directors and agents (“Sponsor and its agents”) and family members and persons living in the same household are not eligible.
2. TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter: 1.) log on to www.mccormick.com/grilling, select “McCormick Grill Mates Stock Car Grilling Party”, complete the Official Entry Form, and submit it electronically as directed by 11:59:59 p.m., Eastern Time, July 15, 2007. Limit one online entry, per valid email address, per eligible person. In order for the electronic entry to be valid, entrants must click on the “I accept” button on the web site. Entrants must provide all information requested on the entry form to be eligible. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an online entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to the email address by the organization responsible for assigning email addresses. Or 2.) by mail – Complete the Official Entry Form available while supplies last at participating retailers. Mail-in entries are limited to one entry per person per household. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 15, 2007, and mailed to: “McCormick Grill Mates Stock Car Grilling Party”, PO Box 270065, St. Louis, MO 63127. No mechanically reproduced entries or facsimiles allowed. Sponsor and its agents (as defined in Section 1 above) are not responsible for entries (mail or internet) that for any reason are lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or stolen, for postage due, late or lost mail, for malfunctions of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software, for problems downloading entries from the web site or other technical problems related to the web site entries. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or modify the online portion of this sweepstakes at any time if the service is no longer available or is compromised by any virus, bugs, or other intervention beyond Sponsor’s control. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
3. Judging/Determination of Winners: Drawing: Winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about July 31, 2007, from all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by mail and may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release, which must be received by Sponsor within 14 days of the date on the notification, or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
4. PRIZE: One Grand Prize consisting of an Outdoor Grilling Party for fifty (50) people and featuring a simulator race car. The prize will be a four (4) hour catered outdoor grilling party between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. that will feature McCormick Grill Mates products and recipes as featured in their current recipe leaflets and include appetizers, entrees, desserts, cold non-alcoholic beverages, tables, chairs, plates, napkins, flatware, tablecloths, clean-up service and if necessary, tent and heat lanterns. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Entrants whose residence cannot accommodate the Grilling Party will be expected to assist the Sponsor with coordinating an acceptable location. Approximate retail value: $7,500. 300 First Prizes consisting of a portable gas grill (propane not included) and select McCormick product will be available. Approximate retail value: $75 each. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. All claimed prizes will be awarded. No prize substitutions or cash equivalent except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are non-transferable. Limit of one prize per person and/or household. All federal, state and local taxes and expenses not specified are the responsibility of the individual winners.
5. GENERAL: Sponsor and its agents assume no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any prize. By entering, entrants agree to: (1) release the Sponsor and its agents from liability, injuries, loss and/or damage of any kind arising from their participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize; (2) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all matters related to this sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited.
6. Winners List: Between September 1, 2007, and October 31, 2007, the list of winners will be posted on the McCormick web site under the "Products & Promotions" tab at the top of the page.
